Privacy, in plain language.
ColoringFun is designed so its main printable tools work without an account. This page explains the smaller set of data used for optional features, security, and measurement.
Information used to provide the site
You can browse, print, download, and build color-by-code worksheets without an account.
If you choose to sign in, Firebase Authentication processes the email address, Google profile details, and sign-in credentials needed for your chosen method. ColoringFun receives the account identifier and basic profile details needed to show your account and keep your favorites.
Saving a favorite stores the public catalog item, difficulty, variation, and your account identifier in Firebase Firestore.
Custom page generation
A custom subject, style, and difficulty are sent through a ColoringFun cloud function to Runware so it can create the requested image. Requests are checked before they are sent.
ColoringFun returns the generated image directly to the browser and does not add the prompt or image to its catalog, account history, or file storage. Infrastructure and the generation provider may process request data to operate and secure their services.
Do not enter a name, address, school, contact detail, or other personal information in a generation request.
Abuse prevention and analytics
The generation service derives rotating one-way identifiers from the requesting network address to enforce minute and daily limits. Firestore stores the identifier, counter, timestamps, and an expiry timestamp—not the raw address or prompt.
Vercel Analytics supplies aggregate page and controlled product-event measurements. Event properties describe features such as a worksheet mode, paper format, or catalog difficulty; they must not contain free-form prompts or account details.
Hosting, security, and cloud providers may process technical details such as network address, device information, and request logs as part of operating their services.
Choices and retention
You can remove individual favorites in the product and sign out at any time. Account information remains with Firebase Authentication until the account is deleted. Rate-limit records are designed to be short-lived and carry expiry timestamps.
Browser controls can limit analytics and local storage, although blocking required Firebase storage can prevent sign-in from working.
A parent or guardian should supervise use by children. Children should not create an account or submit personal information without their parent or guardian.
Questions and changes
A dedicated public privacy and rights contact is still being configured. No new personal-data feature will launch before that channel is published. Material changes to this policy will be dated here.
